Do you miss a lot of

Here Is A Way To Turn Your Hearing Loss To Your Advantage And Live The Life You Really Want

Do you miss first words or make silly responses to comments or questions?

Do you often decline invitations to social events because you don't want to stand in a corner, while everyone else is having a great time?

Do you want to apply for a different job, but you're worried you won't hear your colleagues in meetings?

If you've replied yes to any of the questions above, then I can help you.

My name is Gianluca Trombetta, I grew up with moderately-severe hearing loss and for years I lived in denial, I didn't even wear hearing aids until my twenties. I am 36 now.

When my audiologist finally convinced me to start wearing hearing aids at age 20, I expected to immediately have perfect hearing. But of course, that did not happen. And then I found myself with questions and in situations that I did not know how to handle.

What was I to do when my hearing aids did not work? How should I tell my work colleagues about my hearing loss? How do I properly enjoy my dinner out or a day at the beach? And what technology accessories are relevant for my needs? I was disappointed and frustrated by what I felt was a lack of support from my audiologist.

But I’ve learned that hearing aids are just the start of the hearing rehabilitation journey, the term I use to describe a comprehensive approach to improving your hearing.

Over the years, I taught myself the communication techniques that made it possible to do the job I wanted, as well as to live harmoniously with my partner (who has perfect hearing).

I now feel like hearing loss is no longer in the way. If anything, it's made me emotionally stronger. It forced me to open up with others, to ask for help. To be vulnerable.

And since I wear devices in my ears all day, I think of myself as a bionic man. A Superhuman.

Learning to handle hearing loss has been the biggest challenge of my life, but also the most rewarding.

How did I do it?

I threw myself into a very uncomfortable zone, I took jobs I wasn't sure I could do with hearing loss, I met people in noisy places even if I knew I would not be able to hear them. I'd attend group meetings that were too big for me to hear the speakers in the far distance.

It was tough. I spent a lot of time not hearing things, but that helped me figure out how to communicate.

Even though I'm happy now, it took me a long time to figure things out. So I want to spare you the hard times and teach you everything I know with my new course.

In six weeks, you can learn what took me decades to master.

Based on Hearing Rehabilitation

A wide range of studies show that to be effective, the treatment of hearing loss has to use a comprehensive approach, a personalized approach for each user.

This treatment is known as Hearing Rehabilitation.

A Hearing Rehabilitation plan includes goal-setting and assessments to verify hearing ability (but not only hearing ability). Plans must involve the hearing aid user’s significant other, hearing-aid education based on established best practices, counseling therapy, and support groups.

You probably haven’t heard of it. Until now. That’s because:

This approach is great, but if every module has to be delivered by the audiologist, the process takes a lot of face-to-face time.

When offered, Hearing Rehabilitation costs add up to the the final price. Think about it. Hearing-aid users have to pay more for consultation time when they’ve already purchased pricey hearing aids.

So, even if many audiologists would love to deliver a premium service, only a few do. The majority of audiologists limit their solution to hearing loss to the sales and fitting of hearing aids.

Which wasn't enough.

Things are changing now. Thanks to new online technology, we can make this treatment affordable and accessible for you.

Let’s take a quick look at the six steps:

Meet our Audiologists

Dr Caitlin Barr — Audiologist and Lecturer The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Caitlin lectures about  hearing devices and hearing rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering people with hearing loss and their significant others to get the best hearing and communication outcomes; she completed her PhD looking at how to improve hearing care services in Australia and continues to research in the area of ‘person-centred hearing care’. Caitlin is very excited to work with Gianluca to support you in tuning up your superhuman hearing.

Chris Waterworth  - Audiologist at The University of Melbourne, Australia.

Chris is involved in various capacities within the University including teaching, research, marketing and communications and also works within the University Audiology Clinic. With nearly 20 years of experience, primarily in private practice, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a continued passion in helping people with hearing loss overcome their communication difficulties. He is very pleased to be able to partner with Gianluca in helping pave a new way in reaching out to those who seek to improve their hearing abilities.

At Superhuman Hearing we believe that audiologists are key for hearing rehabilitation but we don't believe that they should deliver every single component of the treatment. A great audiologist empowers the patient (or customer) by placing her at the centre of the treatment.

- Can audiologists teach me what I'll learn in this course?

Ask your audiologist if they deliver hearing or aural rehabilitation. If they do, you'll find that the price is likely to be higher than the price of this course. That's because when done traditionally, this type of treatment takes a lot of face-to-face time. Also, if audiologists don't have hearing loss, it's very hard for them to know how it feels

- How much time will I have to commit to this course?

This is entirely up to you, as different people have different learning methods and time commitment. I recommend from a minimum of 15 mins a day to one hour to get the most benefits. For six weeks.

- Will the timezone be an issue?

No. The course is by design asynchronous so you can read your materials and do your assignments when you wish, in your own time. Same for the virtual classroom.

- Where are you based?

The Superhuman team is distributed around the world. Our audiologists are based in Melbourne while myself and my partner are based between Bali and Europe. We have a few more collaborators around the world too.

- What happens after the course is finished?

We will send you a survey every six months to make sure that you're still improving, and you'll also have access to my FREE newsletter for as long as you like. You'll have access to Superhuman Hearing expert team via the Facebook Group for a total period of three months. If you find the group useful and want to keep access to it after the three months period period you can, for a small fee.

- What technical skills do I need to take this course?

Basic internet browsing skills will suffice. We have partnered with an established e-learning platform called They host thousands of courses and have crafted an easy-to-use platform. All you need is to be able to use an internet browser, Facebook and Skype. If you have any trouble with any of these, just send me an email and I'll see if we can help you

- Will the videos be captioned?

Absolutely. We caption every video we make.

Hearing Care Should Be Affordable

As a hearing aid user myself, I think that hearing care should be affordable. Over the last 15 years I spent more than $15k on hearing aids and correlated services.

I've always thought that the industry is charging us too much.

But no worries. This course will always be affordable.

If you enroll today, you only pay $99.
